Marin Bike to Work Day
Energizer Stations
Stop by a Marin Energizer Station between 6:30-9:30 AM on May 12 for a bag of goodies and lots of cheer. Leave home a bit earlier to check out as many stations as possible. The celebration continues from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur: bicyclists, as MCBC honors the Marin Bike Commuter of the Year.
Dust off your old bike and try pedaling to work for a change. If each driver in Marin replaced a nine-mile car trip with a bicycle trip just once a month, it would cut carbon dioxide emissions by over 4,730 tons per year. And the riders would be having fun doing it.
