BICYCLE PARKING HAS MANY BENEFITS FOR EVENTS

• Staffed bicycle parking ensures that bicycles parked at your event will be safe.
• Providing bicycle parking indicates that the management for your event is concerned about providing for ecologically sound transportation alternatives.
• Every patron who arrives at your event on a bicycle contributes towards saving limited parking spaces.
• We will help to advertise your event, if we are providing our small or large bicycle parking service.
• Valet bicycle parking safeguards patrons' bicycles in one compact location. Without a special place for bicycle parking, people end up parking their bikes on sidewalks, locking them to sign-posts and other streetscape objects. In addition to being more visually appealing, consolidated bicycle parking prevents "trip and fall" accidents which may occur if a bicycle is left in the middle of a sidewalk.

3 OPTIONS AVAILABLE:

The Marin County Bicycle Coalition has a state-of-the-art/comprehensive bicycle parking system that’s been serving happy cyclists since 1999. Our system is visually appealing, easy to transport, and extremely functional.

Our contractual services include the following 3 options:

Large events (70+ bikes) $450 per day

• 14 custom-made white bicycle racks. Each rack holds 14 bikes. (196 bike parking spaces)
• Kick stands for individual bikes (100 more bikes parked)
• Five-foot fencing, with portable posts to enclose a 50' X 50' corral.
• A cabana along with a table and chairs (for the bike parking attendants and MCBC literature), as well as our banner.
• A trailer which will hold all of this equipment, as we will need to break down at night, and set up again in the morning.
• Two bicycle parking staff at all times.

Small events (up to 70 bikes) $250 per day

• 5 custom-made white bicycle racks.
• Five-foot fencing, with portable posts to enclose a 25 ' X 25' corral.
• A cabana along with a table and chairs (for the bike parking attendants and MCBC literature), as well as our banner.
• Two bicycle parking staff at all times.

Bike Rack Rental $200 per event ($100 schools and non-profits)

• 5 custom-made white bicycle racks.
• Delivery and pickup of rented racks at the event site, including unloading and re-loading of racks (does not include setup and breakdown).
• Corral equipment may be included as part of rental if available.
• NOTE: No MCBC staffing is provided.

DAMAGE TO BIKE RACKS:

• Damage to any rack will result in a $50 charge per rack for repairs.
• Destroyed or missing racks will result in a $240 charge for full replacement.
