Biketoberfest Volunteer Opportunities

Experience the outdoor celebration of bicycles at our all-day MCBC fundraiser as a volunteer!  Volunteers receive special perks, including a free beer-tasting ticket (worth $60), a meal ticket (sandwich or other event food option), and an MCBC t-shirt (for those who don’t have one already).

Crossing Guards (2 needed per shift)

• Saturday, October 12 – 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Cross walk in front of Splitrock – one person on each side of Sir Francis Drake to keep traffic flowing and allowing pedestrians to cross.

Valet Bike Parking (10 per shift)

• Saturday, October 12 – 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Fairfax Market Parking Monitors and Splitrock Patio Monitors (2 needed per shift)

• Saturday, October 12 – 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Stationed at Fairfax Market to ensure Biketoberfest participants don’t park in the grocery parking lot.

Perimeter Monitors (3 needed per shift)

• Saturday, October 12 – 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Stationed along the perimeter, asking patrons not to leave designated Beer Garden with beer in glasses.

Clean Up Crew (10 needed)

• Saturday, October 12 – 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Help out putting the venue and parking lot back to how we found it! Break down tables, chairs and tents, take down bike racks, clean up trash/recycling, dump ice from coolers, load the box truck with supplies.
