Join us for an Eagle Rock Volunteer Trail Day on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Terra Linda/Sleepy Hollow Preserve.
MCBC is teaming up with Marin County Parks on a volunteer trail day to help realign Memorial Trail (renamed Eagle Rock Trail), which will be accessible to bikes!
Marin County Parks says “There is a full variety of trail work from cutting tread, split rail installation, pruning, and vegetation management. It’s a great project for people to learn what trail construction is about.”
Help realign the Memorial Trail to reduce erosion and make it accessible for all users. Appropriate for ages 12 and older. Marin County Parks will provide water and lunch will be served at noon. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Bring gloves and a water bottle. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel; if in doubt, text or call (415) 250-0941 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required. Click here for more information.
Meeting location: Meet at the gate at the end of Ridgewood Drive. From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the exit for Central San Rafael West. Head west on 5th Ave for approximately 1 mile, turn right onto H St, left onto Forbes Ave, right onto Elizabeth Way, and turn left on Ridgewood Drive (dead end).
Contact Greg Reza from Marin County Parks with any questions.
We hope to see you at the Eagle Rock Volunteer Trail Day on June 8, 2024!
