Join us for Family Biking Live! In-person on April 2, 2022.
Family Biking Live! In-person is for families with kids learning to ride in the road and on pathways. Families will learn to safely navigate their bikes with FUN activities including an optional neighborhood ride. Taught by Safe Routes to Schools instructors. Each rider must come with a good, working bicycle and helmet to participate.
Family Biking Live! In-person is presented by the Marin County Bicycle Coalition and Safe Routes to Schools Marin.
Topics covered in Family Biking Live! In-person include:
Bike handling skills
Obeying stop signs and traffic lights
Riding your bike in the same directions as cars on the road
Hand signals
Balance, braking, steering, stopping, and starting
Walking your bicycle in a crosswalk
Advanced registration for Family Biking Live! in-person is required.
