Marin Search and Rescue Workshop
We have a special workshop during Bike Month that’s just for our members! Join MCBC and Marin Search and Rescue for a hands-on introduction to wilderness first aid and emergency response for riders.
This 1.5-hour session will focus on real-world skills you can use on the trail, including how to assess injuries, respond effectively in the first critical moments of an incident and make informed decisions about when and how to call for help. Participants will have the opportunity to practice patient assessment techniques and walk away with useful tools and takeaways designed specifically for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.
The workshop will also include a brief presentation on how Search and Rescue teams use e-bikes in the field, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how these tools support emergency response in Marin’s terrain.
With a small group format limited to just 15 attendees, this interactive session is designed to be engaging, informative and personalized—giving participants the chance to ask questions and learn directly from experienced SAR team members.
