MCBC Local Teams Meeting March 2025

Join the MCBC Local Teams Monthly Meeting on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Each month, we’ll welcome a special guest speaker, followed by breakout groups for each MCBC Local Team. This month, the MCBC Local Teams Meeting is on Monday, March 24, 2025.

For the past 15 years, a group of volunteers has worked to transform a two-mile vacant corridor in Santa Rosa (initially intended for Highway 12) into a 47-acre urban greenway, park, and open space. In December of last year, Santa Rosa formally acquired the land from Caltrans, a crucial step in the process. Thea Hensel is the chair of the Southeast Greenway Campaign. She will share the story of her group and explain how they were able to bring diverse stakeholders together and move this exciting project closer to reality.
March’s Trainer Talk will take place between 6 and 6:30 PM. At 6:30, we will break out into town-based Zoom rooms. We hope you can join us!
