Ride with Us! Join us for a San Anselmo History Ride on Saturday, June 4th at 10 am!
This free, 6 mile ride will start in downtown Fairfax at the Marin Museum of Bicycling. This fun and informative history bike ride will be led by commission members of the San Anselmo Historical Museum and MCBC’s Executive Director, Tarrell Kullaway. The tour will make frequent stops so riders can learn about the Coast Miwok, early land development in Marin, railroad history, music, major floods, churches, notable architecture, and the last duel in California! Stops include Lansdale and Yolanda Stations, the San Francisco Theological Seminary, Wade Thomas School, and Robson Harrington House. Slow riding pace and some walking. The ride will last 2.5 hours and is limited to 15 registrants. After the tour, riders can get lunch in San Anselmo or bike back to the museum in Fairfax. So many options!
