Safe Routes to Schools – Walk & Roll in Gratitude Day

Did you know, kids typically are “hard core” when it comes to inclement weather?  For them, it’s fun to don special Froggie rain gear and splash in puddles along routes to schools.  To keep the habit of walking and rolling to school on-going, Safe Routes to Schools is hosting two events for elementary children this fall.  Times may vary – check with your local school for details.

Like all Walk and Roll events, students will receive a small prize for their active travel to school.  Yet, it’s the spirited adventure to school that provides the best motivation to keep moving.
