Casual Cycling Detours for May 11, 2016

Three more bicycle things which crossed our desks this week.  No endorsement should be inferred or implied…

We just liked them and thought you might too.
Enjoy and ride safe!

  1. We appear to be on “the list”… In this case, Bicycling Magazine’s.  They’ve listed the classic Marin Mt Tamalpais Hill Climb as one of  “The Best Cycling Hill Climbs – 5 Painfully Steep But Rewarding Challenges
  2. Cyclists in Michigan stand up for their legal rights, decide to appeal a civil infraction and get threatened in the courtroom… how will it end? (Is there an emoticon for the “Law & Order” music?)
  3. How’s this for a job description? “…promote and protect cycling in the city, acting as a go-between connecting city hall, cyclists, community groups, and anyone who might be affected by new measures designed to improve citizens’ cycling experience….”  Maybe you should be the next Bike Mayor of Amsterdam!
