news MCBC Bylaws Adopted

The Board of Directors of the Marin County Bicycle Coalition are pleased to announce the Bylaws vote concluded with MCBC members overwhelmingly adopting the new Bylaws.

The new Bylaws will convert MCBC into a “non-voting” membership organization, allowing Board Directors to elect new Directors and make needed changes to Bylaws, without requiring a time-intensive membership voting process. The next election of Directors will be at the Annual Meeting in March 2017.

MCBC understands that the strength of its message lays in its Members’ passion and involvement. The proposed Bylaw revisions will do nothing to change that and are only intended to improve operational efficiency.
