Prelude to the Grand Opening East Sir Francis Drake Bike-Ped Overpass

Anyone heading along the North-South Greenway in southern Marin county has probably noticed a few changes in the bike/ped route south of the Cal Park Tunnel.  We had numerous MCBC members sharing images from the new structure which now spans East Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.  While the official grand opening has not yet taken place, many happy pedestrians, cyclists and bike commuters have been enjoying the direct and easy route and remarking with enthusiasm.

MCBC Safe Routes to Schools Instructor snapped the amazing panoramic image above (you can click on it to see the full version), and also made sure his ride-cam was recording as he headed southward from the Cal Park Tunnel to the final ramp on the new bridge.
