MCBC’s 4th Annual Bicycle Film Festival Sells Out the Lark Theater

2026 Cory's Ride Bicycle Film Festival

2026 Cory's Ride BFFOn April 30th, Marin County Bicycle Coalition welcomed a sold-out crowd of more than 200 riders, students, teachers, parents, donors, and community partners to the historic Lark Theater in Larkspur for our 4th Annual Bike Film Festival.

The evening kicked off with a VIP happy hour featuring food from Left Bank Brasserie before attendees filled the theater for a night of films celebrating transportation, adventure, community, and bike culture.

As one of MCBC’s key fundraising events supporting Cory’s Ride, the festival highlighted how youth bicycling programs create much more than riding skills, helping build confidence, independence, leadership, and opportunity for young people throughout Marin County.

One of the most memorable parts of the evening came from student speakers who shared personal reflections about the impact biking and programs like Cory’s Ride have had on their lives and communities.

The film lineup sparked laughter, reflection, and conversation throughout the night. Highlights included Cycling Without Age and Kidical Mass from Pedal Born Pictures, both of which sparked thoughtful and engaging post-film director Q&A sessions that kept conversations going long after the screenings ended.

2026 Cory's Ride BFFWhat made the evening especially meaningful was the mix of people in the room: longtime MCBC members, Cory’s Ride supporters, students, educators, families, first-time attendees, and local partners all coming together around a shared belief in the power of bicycling to strengthen communities.

As an official Bike Film Festival partnered event, the evening also connected Marin’s local bike community to the broader global movement celebrating bicycling through storytelling and film.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this year’s festival such a success. We’re already planning next year’s event and look forward to continuing to grow this celebration of bike culture and community in Marin.
