300 ride in support of trails! 7th Annual MCBC Dirt Fondo
A Big Success!

Our sold out 7th Annual MCBC Dirt Fondo was a day to remember! On what was a perfect air-conditioned day, 300 riders tackled adventures of varying distances and returned safe-and-sound (though perhaps a little dusty…) to a delicious BBQ feast!

The route was dialed this year. Bobcat Fire Road and Coastal Fire Roads were recently graded, which made for smooth uphill rolling. Dias Ridge and Coast View Trails are a little hammered after a few rough winters, but were still fun to descend. And everyone seemed to like the reverse start/finish loop, which avoided a final grind up Marincello and was replaced by the friendlier Old Spring Trail.

It was inspiring to see so many new faces and families enjoying the ride while supporting MCBC’s Off-Road Program. We’ve pulled together some of our favorite photos from the day in the gallery below – just click on any of the images to see them in greater detail. And check out more images tagged with #mcbcdirtfondo and #experiencemcbc on Instagram!

Thanks to all the riders, volunteers and partners (see below)  – we look forward to seeing you on the trails!
