Join Marin County Bicycle Coalition in celebrating the historic, long-awaited opening of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Pathway on Saturday, November 16, as we lead a ride to the opening celebration in Richmond!
People of all ages and abilities are invited to attend. This will be a casual, no-drop ride of approximately 15 miles round trip. The bridge pathway is protected from traffic, but the rides to and from the bridge are not. There will be some hills.
8:15 – 8:45 AM: Gather at The New Wheel Electric Bikes (14 Sir Francis Drake, Larkspur). We’ll have free coffee courtesy of Equator Coffees and light breakfast courtesy of The New Wheel!
9 AM: Roll out for the no-drop 7.5 mile ride to the ribbon cutting ceremony.
10 AM: Ribbon cutting ceremony
10:30 AM: Ride back to Marin
11:30 AM: Join Mike’s Bikes at Marin Brewing Company (1809 Larkspur Landing Circle, Larkspur) for drinks and food!

We are expecting a large crowd and making every effort to streamline rider check-in so that we can roll out promptly at 9 AM. Please register through Eventbrite so we can collect your information for our Release and Waiver of Liability.
