Project Update: The Marin Water Board of Directors rescinded the District’s Watershed e-bike and trail share pilot programs and approved a revised e-bike pilot, which permits class 1 e-bikes on watershed roads where conventional bikes are currently allowed. The Class 1 ebike pilot began July 1, 2025, for a period of 2 years and is accompanied by visitor surveys, a bat study, trail counters, and continued monitoring of Northern Spotted Owls and invasive plants.
