We embrace this philosophy in our Berkeley office as well, where we incentivize staff to commute by bike with a program designed to help the environment, encouraging weekly lunchtime rides into the Berkeley hills and partially subsidizing staff participation in local charity cycling events. We also participate in larger non-profit efforts aimed at improving the lives of the people who call our travel destinations home, like World Bicycle Relief, the National Parks Conservation Association and Leave No Trace, as well as others.
For nearly 40 years, Backroads has been setting the stage for unique and personal travel experiences in every corner of the globe—raising the bar that all such travel should aspire to. And while it may sound like boasting, we don’t think anyone does it better.
