MCBC Sponsor Profile JAMBAR – Organic Energy Bar That Supports Active Living

We are proud to introduce JAMBAR, MCBC’s newest sponsor. Jennifer Maxwell, a Marin native and co-founder of the original energy bar PowerBar, is changing the game once again! Her new organic energy bar, JAMBAR, combines innovative proteins, gluten-free ancient grains, real chunks of fruit or premium chocolate, and authentic sweeteners from nature. Small batch production is now underway in the company’s brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in San Rafael.

JAMBAR makes delicious organic energy bars that provide excellent fuel for cyclists of all levels. Since Jennifer and her late husband Brian started making PowerBars in 1985, energy bars have been synonymous with cycling. JAMBARs are the preferred energy snack of many recreational and pro cyclists including Ali Tetrick (Malt Nut Melody is her favorite flavor) and Ryan McElmon (he’s all about the Jammin’ Jazzleberry).

MCBC is a beneficiary of the “JAMBAR Gives Back” program! JAMBAR was created with the goal of helping people feel good about the ingredients they put in their bodies, and the positive impact they can have on their local communities. Fifty-percent of the company’s after-tax profits go to organizations that support active living and music. MCBC provides invaluable services to Marin’s diverse biking community, and we are proud to support their efforts.
