This summer Cory’s Ride had the pleasure of joining hands with Play Marin to work with students from MLK Middle School. This partnership quickly evolved into a transformative summer program that built community connections beyond just riding bikes.
Kids are fully back in school and many are using their own powerful feet to get there. Traffic reduction is key to calmer, safer streets which encourages more families to walk and bike to schools, further reducing traffic.

BikeFest in the Park was a big success! Volunteer mechanics from the Bike Mobile restored over 50 bicycles at Pickleweed Park in San Rafael. The event aimed to empower the community and promote bicycle safety. A bicycle safety course was held for young bikers, followed by a family bike parade along the Bay Trail.
Cory’s Ride is thrilled to announce a transformative partnership with Play Marin! This collaboration aligns with Cory’s Ride’s mission of promoting cycling to youth, fostering inclusivity and community spirit. A new Cory’s Ride group of 15 students from Marin City will join on June 27th for a fun-filled camp focused on bike riding, maintenance, road safety, and navigation.
Walk/Bike San Rafael (WBSR) and the Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC) are teaming up to provide valet bike parking at the Sunday Marin Farmers Market on May 21 and June 4, 2023.
2023 is shaping up to be a blockbuster year for the Cory’s Ride program, and we have some wonderful updates to share with you. As anyone who’s been following along on our journey can attest, Cory’s Ride is already accomplishing so many of the goals that we created for the program, and we’re constantly coming up with new objectives that have us really excited.
