Our SOLD OUT 7th Annual Dirt Fondo was a day to remember! On what was a perfect air-conditioned day, 300 riders tackled adventures of varying distances and returned safe-and-sound (though perhaps a little dusty…) to a delicious BBQ feast. Check out the photos from the day!
August was a great month for volunteering with MCBC, with volunteers serving hydration and snacks to Marin Century riders, and helping pull off one of our most successful Dirt Fondo events ever!. A warm thank you to all of our volunteers for helping spread the love in the MCBC cycling community – check out these photos
Registration for the 2018 MCBC Dirt Fondo is officially sold out – and 10 days in advance of the ride! While the ride is sold out, there are still opportunities to participate and to benefit from the annual off-road epic on Mt. Tam! If you are one of the fortunate 300 who have a ticket to ride, thank you for your support!
With riders covering up to 45 miles along Marin’s challenging trails, your volunteer efforts are key to making sure the ride goes off without a hitch. Everyone always appreciates the enthusiastic help on the course, at energizer stations, and through the epic post-ride BBQ! Help us make this event a success.
Every rider agrees – there’s nothing like the enthusiastic support from our amazing MCBC Volunteers! We’re looking for volunteers at the two biggest Marin county cycling events this August – the Marin Century and MCBC Dirt Fondo.
On a day when riders will cover up to 45 miles, it’s up to our amazing MCBC volunteers to mark the route, lead and sweep to keep riders on the course, keep riders hydrated and enthusiastic at rest stations, and help make sure everyone has enough to eat and drink at the celebratory post-ride BBQ!
