As a new year begins, what do we have to look forward to? A lot, it turns out! 2022 promises to be an exciting one, with several projects long in the making finally breaking ground. After years of advocacy from MCBC and our supporters, San Rafael is finalizing plans to build a two-way protected bikeway connecting West End with Gerstle Park in Summer 2021.

MCBC’s Road Program builds the support needed to identify, promote, and fund bike and pedestrian improvements in Marin, with safety and connectivity between communities as the driving themes.
Beginning this month, the Marin Municipal Water District will install large log structures in Lagunitas Creek which will mean heavy equipment accessing the Cross-Marin Trail.
