Open Alto Tunnel

Alto Tunnel project would link Corte Madera and Mill Valley, closing Marin’s largest North-South Greenway gap for safe walking and biking

Downtown San Rafael Bikeways

This project will connect several existing pathway projects in San Rafael, including the Lincoln Hill pathway, the SMART pathway south of 2nd, and more.

Redwood Highway Gap Closure

SMART – Hanna Ranch to Rowland

The SMART Hanna Ranch pathway will close a key gap and improve safety between Hanna Ranch Road under SR-37 and Vintage Way at Rowland Blvd.

SMART – Puerto Suello Hill Pathway

The Puerto Suello SMART Pathway project will add a safe multiuse path connecting Merrydale Rd, Lincoln Ave, and the SMART path near the rail tunnel. The project would close a gap in the SMART path, connecting Terra Linda and Downtown San Rafael with a continuous multi-use path.

San Rafael Canal Bridge

A planned Canal bridge will link 3rd Street, Canal Street, and Harbor Street, improving safe access for people walking and biking in San Rafael. The project would effectively decrease the biking or walking distance to San Rafael High School and the Montecito Shopping Center by 0.7 miles.

Bellam Boulevard Bikeways

A redesign of Bellam Boulevard will add bikeways, sidewalks, and safer crossings with roundabout improvements connecting to Cal Park Hill Pathway.

Tiburon Boulevard Class IV Bikeway
