There’s only one Biketoberfest, and it’s coming to Fairfax on Saturday, October 13! It’s the winning combination of beautiful bicycles and artisan beer, held outside at the peak of Indian Summer, that places this event at the top of Marin’s fall social agenda. And when you get a bunch of bicyclists together it’s sure to be a great time!
Biketoberfest is about music!
The Pulsators perform at 3:30 PM
Always a crowd-pleaser, The Pulsators have been ripping it up, tearing it down and rocking the house for decades. This band truly loves what they do. Their original music has been described as a “spicy mix of hard driving Rockin’ Rhythm and Blues, New Orleans style funk and Rock Steady Reggae with a steady dose of the Blues thrown in.”
Alice Drinks The Kool Aid perform at 2:00 PM
Dance and celebrate with Blues-based Chicago indie rock band Alice Drinks The Kool Aid – founded in a Park Ridge basement in 2014 as a creative outlet for three lifelong musician friends. Drummer Jim Widlowski is a top session player who has anchored many of the Broadway productions that have come to the city in the past 20 years. Bassist Alan Berliant is a peerless performer who makes his living as a composer of commercial music of all styles. Tony Magee, the founder of Lagunitas Brewing Company manages the guitar and vocal responsibilities. The band’s original material is written and arranged by all three members, drawing from the deepest free jazz and the most fundamental rock and blues.
Blushin’ Rushin’ perform at 12:30 PM
Starting off the day, Blushin’ Rushin’ plays an eclectic mix of pop, funk, folk, rock with Sergei Chelakov on lead vocal and lead guitar, Sebastian Link playing bass and vocals, and Kenny Blackmon on drums and vocals.
