MCBC will be rocking the Nicasio Rest Stop Marin Century Rolls Saturday, August 4 – Register today!

Join MCBC on Saturday, August 4 at the 56th Marin Century – the bay area’s largest rolling party! The Marin Century is the signature event of Marin Cyclists, the county’s largest bicycle club. Enjoy the amazing riding opportunities available on any of the six fully supported routes ranging from 30 to 200 miles. It’s no wonder why this ride attracts 2,500 riders from all over Northern California – with scenic routes, amazing support and famously challenging Century and Double Century (for those into pain!)

Of course, you can expect excellent fuel for the ride! Along the way, you’ll enjoy pastries, fresh fruit, energy bars, salty snacks, hydration mix and cold drinks at the rest stops. Riders receive a waterproof course map and are aided on course by Route Arrows & signage, course marshals and CHP at critical locations. Once back at the finish, you’ll recover with award winning BBQ, wood oven fired pizza prepared on-site by Firetrail Pizza (gluten free crust option), epic burritos (including vegetarian), a large assortment of beverages. Did we mention dessert? Enjoy Fiorello’s Artisan Gelato and then enjoy live music and an expo area.

No doubt you’ll see MCBC jerseys out on the routes – but save a special hello and thank you for our amazing MCBC volunteers, once again keeping your spirits up at the Nicasio Rest Stop.  They’ll be busy – hydrating and energizing over 1,500 cyclists throughout the day. We’re excited to be working with Golden Gate Market Sausalito, which will providing gourmet snacks to supplement the traditional rest stop fare.

The 56th Marin Century is hosted by the Marin Cyclists and supported by over 250 volunteers from organizations like MCBC. The Marin Cyclists and Marin Century are volunteer-run and managed. Proceeds from the Marin Century support local youth athletics and bicycle advocacy including MCBC.

Marin Century NEEDS VOLUNTEERS! Contact Volunteer Coordinator Annie Leverich at annie@www.marinbike.org if you want to help out at the MCBC hosted Nicasio rest stop or for other volunteer needs visit the Marin Century VOLUNTEER PAGE.
