For our inaugural Bike Shop Spotlight, we are excited to feature Marin Service Course, a full-service bike shop in Fairfax. We asked Marin Service Course to tell us about the shop and their favorite ride in Marin.
Tell us about your name
Marin Service Course is our name and a service course is a location where bicycles are maintained between races.
Do you have a specialty?
We focus on high-quality service and detail-oriented custom builds and treat every bike as if it were our own. We take a lot of pride in our work.
What brands do you carry?
We carry Santa Cruz, Cervelo, Pivot, Argonaut, Moots, Allied, Stinner, Parlee, Colnago, Pinarello, Wilier, Evil, Forbidden, Norco, Rocky Mountain, BlackHeart, Ritte, Scott, and Giant.
Three coolest things in your shop right now…
The three coolest things in our shop would be:
1- Our amazing selection of nutrition to choose from while on a ride, dialing in a nutrition strategy for a race, or stocking the cabinets at home.
2- Our Rocket espresso machine for you to enjoy a coffee while we work on your bike.
3- Our awesome selection of cycling kits from our partners Pas Normal Studios, Rapha, and Velocio.
Do You OFFER Rentals?
We do offer rentals!
Best ride from your shop?
The best ride from our shop is a tough one because there are so many. Depends on what bike and what tire you are riding that day. We can curate the perfect ride for you and load it onto your cycling computer.
Anything to add?
We are all Marin natives and ride our bikes every day. We’re so lucky to be doing what we love for a living! We want to share our stoke with you and hopefully get out for a ride soon!
