Welcome The New Wheel to Marin! Larkspur Landing continues to evolve as a key part of the bike revolution in Marin County! Following on the heels the recent celebration of the Central Marin East Sir Francis Drake Overcrossing, the second location of The New Wheel kicks off with a Grand Opening Party on Saturday, July 9, featuring e-bike test rides, live music and more.
This new location lies at the nexus of a major transportation corridor in Marin, on the North-South Greenway which connects countless bike trails, a new bike bridge, and the Larkspur Ferry terminal. The party kicks off at noon, with 12 bike brands on hand for you to ride and compare. Sign up for a guided demo ride, or simply hop on a bike and take it around the block.
The New Wheel sees their operation as a key means to ease urban congestion and improve quality of life in here. For families and younger riders, Sausalito-based kids’ bike brand Cleary Bikes will bring a fleet of bikes for kids of all ages. Adults can try a variety of kid-seat-ready electric bikes including the Xtracycle Edgerunner.
El Molino Central and Lagunitas Brewery will be on hand to keep you fed and refreshed, and live music and raffle opportunities will keep things exciting until things wind down at 6 PM.
