Discount to MCBC Members Ride the Slide This Saturday & Save Some Cash

No specific riding plans for this Saturday? Want a great option? MCBC just learned that the Devil’s Slide Ride (formerly the Giro di Pacifica) has a few spots available for their July 23 event this weekend and have extended a discount to MCBC members and supporters.

Use the discount code below to take $10 off any of this year’s route distances – the 104 mile century, 61 mile metric century and 37 mile metric half century.

The Century From Hell  – 104 Miles

Designed for expert, highly-conditioned cyclists and triathletes, the demanding, exhilarating Century From Hell tests the limits of your abilities. From Devil’s Slide to Pescadero and back through redwood groves and watersheds, our century ride—with over 9,000 feet of vertical gain and unforgettable panoramic views—has earned a reputation among hardcore cyclists as a “must-do” ride; a real challenge of strength, grit and endurance.

The Merciless Metric Century  – 61 Miles

A demanding ride suggested for seasoned distance riders with recent experience, and groups and teams who seek new challenges and a hard-earned sense of accomplishment. The ride takes you down the spectacular coast, up mountains (approximately 4800 ft of elevation gain), past ancient redwoods and back through pristine watershed area.

The Hellion’s Metric Half-Century – 37-mile

Take in the spectacular panoramas of the northern San Mateo County coastline as the 36-mile route heads south, down the coast to Half Moon Bay and back! This ride is geared towards advanced-intermediate cyclists looking to push through to the next level and advanced cyclists who ride regularly and are looking for an exhilarating medium distance workout.
