Jensie Gran Fondo Warm-up! Ride with Jens Voigt on May 12th
What excuse do you need to go for a ride with the most fun guy in pro cycling?
That’s what we figured – you don’t need one!
But, it’s better than that! Join the ride with Jens Voigt on Friday, May 12 for free!
You just need to be quick enough to register for a space, then you can roll out with Jens on an 18 mile classic Marin Headlands Loop! Afterwards you can rest your legs while enjoying a Happy Hour and Q&A session with Jens.
Join Jens Voigt and Bonk Breaker for a Jensie Gran Fondo training ride over the Golden Gate Bridge and into the Headlands! Act fast if you want to join Jens on the ride – there will be limited space available. But even if you can’t be there for the Gran Depart at 3 PM, you can swing by for the Happy Hour at 6:30 PM, sponsored by Lagunitas.
Schedule:
- 3:00 pm: Meet in front of Sports Basement Presidio
- 3:10-3:15: Roll Out (18 mile Headlands Loop)
- 5:00-5:30: Arrive back to the store
- 6:30-7:00: Happy Hour and Q&A with Jens

The Jensie Gran Fondo 2017
Former pro Jens Voigt will return to Marin County to host his third annual Gran Fondo event on October 7. The Jensie Gran Fondo of Marin welcomes riders of all levels to complete a 40, 70 or 100 mile route, starting and ending in beautiful Stafford Lake Park in Novato, California. Cyclists will have a memorable day with Jens Voigt, arguably the most fun guy in pro cycling, as they ride through the world-class roads of Marin County. Event proceeds will again benefit The Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC), whose work in the county provides safer cycling routes and more bike access, on and off-road.
