Marin Municipal Water District’s Board of Directors authorized $150,000 in funding to help launch construction in July 2020 on the Azalea Hill / Liberty Gulch trail project, a long-held MCBC priority that will connect the Mt. Tamalpais Watershed with Pine Mountain.
On November 20, over fifty people filled the Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD) Board of Directors meeting to show support for the Azalea Hill and Liberty Gulch Trail and Habitat Enhancement Project, a proposal that would create bike access between Pine Mountain and Mt. Tam. Approval is now expected in early 2019.
The long-held vision for an off-road connection between the Pine Mountain / Kent Lake and Bon Tempe / Deer Park sides of the Mt. Tam Watershed is nearing reality, with bike access on Azalea Hill in sight. Join MCBC and fellow trail supporters on Tuesday, May 14, when the MMWD Directors consider project approval.
