Gather, Ride & Focus on Trail Advocacy Ales & Trails 2016 – Saturday, May 14 at China Camp S.P.

Ales & Trails 2016What better way to cap off Bike to Work Week than a day on our fine local trails – with food, beverage, great company and a great cause!

Since 2004, the Ales and Trails event in Marin County has brought countless mountain bikers and trail enthusiasts together in support of IMBA’s advocacy work here in Northern California. After its noted absence last year in the spring cycling calendar, Access4Bikes and IMBA have partnered up and will bring Ales and Trails back in 2016!

On May 14, 2016 at Miwok Meadows, China Camp State Park in Marin County, IMBA and Access4Bikes will bring together riders, advocates, and industry representatives from all around the greater Bay Area and California to discuss issues facing the trails community. There will be rides, demo bikes, great food, fine beers, kids events, recognition of outstanding volunteers – plus there are a few surprises on the agenda!

Choose from the latest models of sweet mountain bikes to demo, a nice selection of artisan brewers, root beer for the little ones, a full gourmet barbecue lunch by the famed Chef Sven, organized rides on 100% single track, and entertainment by the Arann Harris Farm Band!

Other perks?  Sweet swag as you enter the site and some surprises from the attending bike vendors and bike advocates.

This will be the largest gathering of Bay Area MTB advocacy organizations in one place, at one time, all year long!
