Trail Efforts Pay Off! Join the Road & Trail Celebration On May 21

Come celebrate new trails and trail enhancements in Open Space on Sunday, May 21!

Now that things have started to dry out a bit, Marin County Open Space will lead a public celebration for the road and trail projects completed in 2016, including Boulder Springs Trail, Contour Trail, Candelero Trail, Octopus Trail and Valle Vista Trail.

On Old Railroad Grade Trail near White Hill in Fairfax was rerouted and a bridge was installed to avoid a steep ravine know as “the Plunge”. Now a wide gentle grade runs the entire distance, making it an ideal shared use trail.
