This is the FINAL MEETING of the 18-month Management Plan, and we want to end this process with an enthusiastic and respectful bang!

Mark your calendars and join us in person at MMWD’s Corte Madera office or online via Zoom.

Letter writers needed! Write a letter icon reimagine mt tam

As we wait for the February meeting, there’s no harm in sending a Letter to the Editor of the Marin Independent Journal in support of a more inclusive Mt. Tamalpais.

View our list of desired conditions on the Reimagine Mt Tam webpage. Make your letter personal, and describe what Mt. Tam means for your health and quality of life. Demonstrate your conservation ethics by advocating for a safe, sustainable, and inclusive watershed. Highlight that Marin is a Can-Do place and that by working together we can ensure everyone has comparable trail experiences while reducing conflict and environmental impacts on the land.

E-mail submissions are preferred for letters. Confine letters to 300 words. Include your name, address, and daytime phone number, or your submittal will be rejected. Send them to opinion@marinij.com. You can reach Editor Dave Allen at 415-382-7206.

Feel free to share a draft with Off-Road Director Tom Boss at tom@marinbike.org before or after submitting your letter.
