Who We Are MCBC Welcomes Dan Stevens to the Board

We are delighted to have Dan Stevens join the MCBC Board of Directors.

Dan is the co-founder and SVP of Business Development at Windfall, a data and analytics company that helps non-profits and commercial organizations become more data-driven through contextual analytics and consumer wealth intelligence. Prior to founding Windfall, Dan served in leadership positions at leading data-as-a-service companies including Radius Intelligence (Acquired by Kabbage) and LiveRamp (Acquired by Acxiom). Earlier in his career, Dan was an investor and advisor at Industry Ventures and Cogent Partners. Dan holds a B.A. from Duke University. He lives in Mill Valley with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys mountain biking and road cycling in the Marin headlands. We are thrilled to have Dan join our Board of Directors! We asked Dan to tell us a little more about himself and why he rides!

Mountain Bike – Orbea

Road Bike – Specialized

What do you like best about riding?

The thrill of exhilarating singletrack, and enjoying the outdoors.

What do you like best about the benefits of riding your bike?

Amazing exercise, and the mental clarity derived from a peaceful romp through the mountains.

What would you have liked someone to tell you when you started?

Don’t be intimidated by the seemingly steep learning curve. There are routes for everyone, and solo rides can be just as satisfying as group rides.

Where is your favorite place to ride your bike?

Marin Headlands, Napa and Teton Valley, ID

What is your favorite ride/route in Marin County?

Camp Tamarancho

What part of riding would you most like to improve?

More singletrack in Marin!

What is your vision of bicycling in the future?

Ubiquitous access to trails, safe road routing, and bikes as a primary means of commuting.
