Time is running out – nominate your favorite Marin County bike commuter for 2018 Bike Commuter of the Year! You only have until April 3 to submit the name of a pedaler you think is awesome, amazing, inspiring and committed to getting around the county by bicycle.

Know a dedicated bike commuter who pedals to work regularly? Know someone who inspires others to commute to work by bicycle? Know a cyclist who brings the joy of riding to his/her commute, rain or shine? Then nominate him/her as your county’s 2018 Bicycle Commuter of the Year! Put your favorite pedaler into the running for this year’s award here!

Recognize a cyclist in your community who is committed to making every day “Bike to Work Day”.   Please share his or her story by letting us know how they incorporate the many health and economic benefits of bicycling into everyday life.

Thursday, May 10 will be a party on wheels across the Bay Area as tens of thousands of cyclists pedal to work.  Mark your calendars and come join us!

As you know, May is National Bike Month and Thursday, May 10, is the Bay Area’s 24th Annual Bike to Work Day. Riders will roll out en masse to celebrate a car-free commute, experiencing the joys and benefits of bicycling to work, school, and for local errands.
