Volunteers needed to kick-off multi-year rehab work Olema Valley Trail Day on October 29!

Olema Valley Trail is one of the few multi-use trails in the Point Reyes National Seashore and it’s been neglected for too long! MCBC has agreed to adopt the trail, with a commitment to organize multiple trail days each year. In addition, we will work with the National Park Service to find funding and other resources to tackle some of the bigger needs, like bridges and reroutes.

Come join MCBC on Saturday, October 29 as we begin the long journey to rehab the Olema Valley trail. We will be repairing a steep eroded section of trail. Tools will be supplied as well as gloves. Wear durable pants, shirt and work boots. Eyewear is also suggested. Lunch will be served following trail work.
