news Join the Annual “Bike the Watershed” Ride on August 12

Join the Gallinas Watershed Council on Saturday, August 12 for the 7th Annual “Bike The Watershed” event – an easy 10 mile bike ride through the watershed in North San Rafael.  Along with an excellent excuse to enjoy the area, the route will stop at a few locations to discuss the various features and its inhabitants before it ends up at a Park for a picnic.

“Bike the Watershed” rides are easy, fun, and educational for young and old. You just need a functioning bike and a helmet. Riders will stop along the way to enjoy the scenery and discuss our watershed and its inhabitants.

This event is free, though a $5 donation is appreciated.

Signup information can be found through the Gallinas Watershed Council site.
