Road Advocacy Join the San Anselmo BPAC and Make Your Voice Heard

Do you live in San Anselmo? Are you interested in helping make your community a better place to walk and ride a bike?

The Town of San Anselmo is looking for members of a new Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee. The BPAC is a group of appointed residents who convene periodically to provide feedback on projects or policies undertaken by the town. The position is an unpaid, volunteer role, and applicants are appointed for four-year terms.

A number of the other municipalities of Marin have their own BPACs, but until recently San Anselmo only had an ad hoc committee, meaning it met irregularly as needed. However, the Town Council recently decided that a standing BPAC, meeting twice a year, would best serve the interests of the town.

If you are interested in applying for one of the seven seats on the BPAC, fill out the application linked here. Applications are due Thursday, September 30th. Find more information on the Town website here.

As always, if you want more information, please email warren@www.marinbike.org.
