Celebrate Bike Month and Ride With a Friend on Bike to Work Day

Most active bicycle riders know that May is Bike Month – a perfect time to use the longer hours of daylight and moderate weather for more rides! But, each of us likely knows someone at work who has a bike gathering a little too much dust in the garage. It’s time to help them get out on two wheels for Bike to Work Day!

Annie Leverich Joins MCBC Staff

Annie Leverich has joined the Marin County Bicycle Coalition staff as Membership and Volunteer Coordinator. She’s been riding bikes most of her life, but became more serious about riding after moving to Portland, OR four years ago. We had a chance to ask Annie a few questions about her background and what she enjoys most about cycling.

China Camp Shoreline Trail Update – It’s Done!

Friends of China Camp (FOCC) would like everyone to know that the Shoreline Trail is now open and ready for you. This fabulous repair was completed by a combination of the California Conservation Corps (CCC), contracted equipment operators and ‘we can do it’ volunteers.
