Proudly open and continuing to extend the North-South Greenway Central Marin Ferry Connection Bridge Opens

Cyclists, officials and project managers attended the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the Central Marin Ferry Connection Bridge – another hard-won link in the North-South Greenway!  No more diverting through parking lots to find the Golden Gate Ferry or destinations further south.

“This is not just a connector between the Cal Park Hill Tunnel and the ferry, this is the main connector that joins north Marin and south Marin,” said MCBC Executive Director Jim Elias as part of the pre-opening celebration. “In that regard, this is a very symbolic moment and a functionally useful next step. This has been a long time coming.”
