Slow and Say Hello: Deer Park, Fairfax

To connect with the community and share our trail stewardship efforts, we host Slow and Say Hello! Outposts at popular trail locations throughout Marin. Trail Partners volunteers set up welcoming info stations where they chat with hikers, bikers  and equestrians about trail safety, respectful shared use, and caring for the incredible natural spaces we all enjoy.

Through fun conversation starters and giveaways, volunteers help encourage positive interactions on the trail and inspire appreciation for Marin’s unique plants and wildlife.
